I've Noticed Something

People mainly don't stop by to chat. They just hop from blog to blog reading about other people's business. I do the same thing. I hit that "random" button at the top of the page and just keep going. I guess that's why I haven't kept up with this blog more than I should...people are just nosey and don't care about talking to you and leaving comments. They just want to know what's going on with the rest of the world....

Toothless

Well, I called hubby on our way out of the dentist's office (with our 8 year old) and told him that if we have anymore children, they would have to be toothless--and stay that way. After spending thousands on her teeth last year, two of her silver teeth need to be pulled and four of her back molars need to be filled. Total:$1,390.00. How can an 8 year old have that many teeth to amount to that much money???? The 3 year old just had $6,000 worth of dentistry done in March. What is wrong with this picture? Me? I haven't been to the dentist in 12 years! Good grief. While brushing our son's teeth last night, I noticed that he, too, has a cavity, so he's to be scheduled for a dental check.

As to the pup, I think we're getting a new doggie! Our current dog has always eaten dry cat food (Wal-Mart's special kitty). Dear Husband thinks that's too expensive. Though we didn't actually get a "yes" out of him, when he was looking at Moss's picture (in an email) he said that he was going to be a big dog and we'd have to feed him dog food because we couldn't afford to feed him cat food. Makes sense to me.....

Well, I'm going to try to recover from the dentist's shock. With our teeth history and the costs of dentistry these days, we may just start sticking to soft foods and forget it....we can always slurp down some soups! Hey, there's jello, puddings, soups, gravies, custards...I'm on a roll.....

Later!

Big Splash!

Well, here's my big splash into Bloggerville! As this is a spur of the moment thing, don't really have much to say. Am anxious to see my first post! After being able to actually see it, I'll be back to actually work on it.

Later!

New Puppy

Well, if we're successful in talking dad into it, we get a new collie/hound mix the 27th. He's adorable and his name is Moss. Another homeschool family has the puppies and Ruth sent photos via email. The older kids have the 3 year old poised with "I want the puppy dog. His name is Moss. G-O-P...Moss". We'll see how strong he is when he hears that. LOL! Don't ask me where she got the "GOP (spells Moss)" thing, just something that her 3 year old mind came up with. I asked her, "You can spell it, too?", to which she replied, "Yes. I spell verwee well". Oh, my. The many moments that I have to hold back a snicker or two.

Well, papa is home...let's see how this goes!!!
